Check your eligibility
Before applying, make sure you meet the NDIS eligibility requirements around age, residency, and disability. Our team can help you assess this.
Check eligibilityMake an access request
Contact the NDIA on 1800 800 110 or submit an Access Request Form. You'll need to provide evidence of your disability from a treating professional.
Prepare your evidence
Gather supporting documentation from your GP, specialist, psychologist, or other treating practitioners. The stronger your evidence, the smoother the process.
Attend a planning meeting
Once approved, you'll have a planning meeting with an NDIA planner or Local Area Coordinator. This is where your individual plan and funding are developed.
Receive your NDIS plan
Your approved plan will include funding across different support categories. Review it carefully and ask questions if anything is unclear.
Understand your fundingChoose your provider
With your plan in place, you can choose the providers who will deliver your support. You have the right to choose — and to change — your providers at any time.
